Some girls in my high school stole text books and then resold them at UCLA (where we bought them). They were stupid enough to show their IDs so they were caught. Maybe the person who took A's will sell them back and be caught. I hope they find whoever did it!

I am really sorry to hear someone stole his books, that is *so* low, honestly. We're big believers in the 'what goes around comes around' philosophy, and know that whoever did it will reap the returns from doing such an awful thing, but that is no consolation when it is time to pay for new books.

You are a sweetie though to try and make him feel better, and to share the secret recipe with us!

So sorry to hear about AJ's stolen books. Besides the monetary loss, it's just an awful feeling to have something stolen from you. It reminds me that there are people in the world who don't respect others' property or care about how awful it would feel to have something so valuable taken from them. And THAT makes me sick to my stomach!

I'm so sorry someone did that, that just... sucks. That's the only word I can say that sums it up. Ugh, I just don't understand the lack of decency with so many people. On a lighter note that pumpkin cheesecake sounds amazing and since I don't bake or usually do desserts it's a good thing it also seems simple! :)

I still can't believe that someone stole all of his textbooks. Ridiculous. I remember how much textbooks cost when I was in grad school, and...I know if I multiply that by gazillion, that's how much AJ spent on his law school books. Blech. I hope they find that a-hole.

And - holy crap, pumpkin cheesecake!!!!!!!! I happen to have one unopened can of pumpkin...do you use the BIG can, or the small can? I think I must have a 28 oz can or something like that.

Honestly, as an ex-law student I can say this - who the f steals textbooks? That is just crazy and mean and horrible and really? Doesn't give you that much money if they are USED.

I'm so sorry. I still have a LOT of my old books, granted they are OLD, but if he needs anything just say the word and I'll send them to you.
