I came home from work today and promptly snuggled up on the couch because it is freezing in our house and I hate cleaning.
Here I am not cleaning:
(Note the hot rollers on the floor by the door. I know, I know, they should be in the bathroom or bedroom...but this is what works for me. I put them in my hair every morning as I am literally walking out the door. Yes, this means I wear them in the car.)This is the picture he took of himself after taking the above picture of me.
He was not happy that I wasn't helping. Luckily, we both burst out laughing when we looked at the pictures.
I plan to take him out to dinner tonight to make up for my lack of cleaning. Fair trade, right?

Sounds perfect to me. My fiance hates cleaning and luckily for him, I don't mind it. He also buys me lots of things all the time so I guess it is a good trade :)
Hot rollers! I should try those. The curling iron doesn't do nearly as good a job, and it takes longer. Although I wouldn't be able to wear them while commuting, since most of the time I take Metro. :)

I haven't used hot rollers in forever. Hmmmmmmm. Maybe I should get me some. I REALLY don't want to turn into a frumpy housewife!

haha you are so funny! i only wore (velcro) rollers one time in the car - and that was back in september on the way to my friend's rehearsal dinner. hair falls flat during a 2 hour drive!!
and my husband doesn't know it - but tomorrow is cleaning day at our house too. i have a feeling he'll be wearing a similar look to your husband! :)

What a sweetheart!! And don't worry. I do my makeup and dry my hair on the couch in the morning. When I was a kid we had one bathroom for 5 people so I have always done this. Guess it has stuck with me :)

Oh my gosh, you may have saved me so much time before work. I need to invest in hot rollers asap! I drive an hour to work. Plenty of time for them to set!
